Another year starts and with it what we hope will be a calendar full of PhotoNetCast episodes.

As always, we aim to provide a photography podcast that is informative and entertaining, and provides a pleasurable listening experience. As much as possible, we also want to adapt what we cover on the show to what you find interesting and useful for your photography objectives.

With that in mind, what would you like to hear more of on PhotoNetCast?

We are trying to understand how the spending habits of our listeners in photography has evolved. As such, here is a new poll.

Photography is expensive. It was expensive when the main medium was film, and is expensive with digital.

Whether as a hobby or a more professional level, the constant requirements (the needs or wants) of investing in equipment upgrades, software, workshops, etc is a constant and not so small drain on the budgets.

So, to try to understand the photography spending habits of our listeners, here is a new poll.

Do not count your time, but everything else from equipment, software, books, workshops, …

How many photography podcasts do you regularly listen to? – Poll

The photography podcast market has changed enormously since we “went live”. To try to understand these changes, please help us out by answering our poll.

As surprising as this seems (to me in particular) it is now over three years since we started publishing PhotoNetCast.

During this time we’ve observed many changed in the podcast “market” and, in particular, in photography podcasting. Several well established podcasts have disappeared, many are still going strong and many more have been created, both in audio and video. We can say that photography podcasting is as dynamic as the industry itself.

At PhotoNetCast, one of our aims was to always try to understand the changes in our listeners’ preferences and, while keeping the initial objectives of the show, adjust and evolve to balance it all together. One way we have tried to gather feedback from the listeners is by asking directly in polls.

With that in mind, we’d appreciate it if you could help us out by answering the question below.
